If it’s someone I knew before I was married then I just sign my name. If it’s someone I met through my husband I sign both our names, mostly just so they are really sure who it is from.

sign the two of you! even though you’re the only one going, it shows that the gift is from the both of you. you don’t want them to talk about the gift YOU gave him, ‘oh ____ gave us a really nice gift, it’s so helpful!’ you want it to be more like ‘we thank you both for the gift, it’s so handy!’ hope you get the idea…basically just sign it from both of you! hope this helps…
