Yeah, waiting until after the shower is a good idea. I know it’s hard though! One thing you might consider looking into is the crib matress(if it’s not coming with the crib). That’s a pretty big expense. Also, you may just get surprised at your shower. I wasn’t expecting much at mine, just the simple stuff, clothes, blankets… But I was so thankful to have recieved almost everything on my registry. Even the big stuff.

honestly it would be a great idea to wait until after the baby shower to see what things u still might need. at my baby shower the only things i didnt get were the big things(carseats, cribs, bassinet….etc.) but those things were given to me before and after. but i wound up getting A LOT of duplicates of the small things(i got 4 diaper bags).

the only thing i really need to buy when i have the baby is diapers, because he is measuring big and we don’t kno if he will fit into newborn diapers or size 1 or whatever….but my stepmoms friend bought me a jumbo package box of size 2 diapers(to jumpstart me).

i kno one thing you may want to buy more of yourself just in case, burp rags…..you can never have enough hats either…..

…….and maybe…..a couple of crib sheet sets. i only got 2 sets, but since my bf and i dont live together he has 1 set and i have 1 set.

Bottles, nipples, pacifiers, Laundry detergent ( Dreft ) that is free of dyes and fragrance, just in case your little one has allergies. Baby wash cloths, towels. Baby bath tub. You usually get diapers and clothes at the baby showers so you might wanna get a bouncer and a swing too. Good Luck with your baby!!!

bottles and a ****** pump would be my suggestion. But then again I didn’t get anything off of my registry! LOL. also burp cloths (cloth diapers) your diaper bag, wipes, formula just in case you have a hard time with your milk coming in. I used soy milk, it is easier on the babies tummies. Dont worry you will still be able to ****** feed if you keep working at it. Its not easy teaching yourself and your newborn how to feed and eat, but youll get it in time! Crib sheets and a sheet protector (lots of crib sheets, diapers leak!) baby dental kit, and first aid kit and some baby tylenol and gas relief drops.
Sorry my list got outta hand. These were the things I had to go get. But def wait until after the shower!!! And maybe a newborn outfit, my son was 7lbs 7oz 19inch long and needed newborn clothes.
