You may want to call your DR. I wouldn’t really know… but I can tell you I called about the shooting ****** pain. My DR told me it’s from the ligaments softening up to make room for the baby. The more babies you have, the possibility you have they will get very soft. She advised me to get a pelvic girdle to help stop the pain. It hasn’t made it fully go away, but it’s been a lot better.
Look up Pelvic Girdle or Pelvic Pain during Pregnancy on google or ask your DR if he/she knows where to get one, if your interested.

Oh yes, your baby can drop at 28 weeks, its preparing itself and finding its position and ready for birth. When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby, I had a low belly around 30 weeks, my doctor told me the baby is positioning itself for delivery. But if you’re hurting a lot, consider going to your doctor. Get lots of rest and good luck!

Does sound like your baby has dropped. I’ve been having the same pains for the past 2 weeks, I’m now 35+3 weeks and find that a nice bath then lying on my side helps the shooting pains.

my little man dropped around then now i get terrible pains down there
when asked the midwife why she said hes pushing down on a nerve and that can cause it
braxton hicks seem a lot worse now but again have been told all very normal especially when u have had a few babies b4 they tell me i have an irritable uterus now due to it being a little worn! due to wear tear of the other babies x
