my daughter is one today and we got her the same as her big sister – a little purse thing and two books and a splash ball for the swimming pool and a little stuffed easter bunny we also got eggs and put candy in them but daddy is really going to eat them and we are going to use crayons and stickers on saturday to decorate boiled eggs. just get him little things (we went to the dollar store)

Just about anything on the smaller side will do. He’ll have a lot of fun with bubbles…you blow and he will chase them! Also, chalk is fun, but he’ll probably want to try putting it in his mouth, so be careful. Any toys, board books, or dvd’s..or even a pair of sandals for summer. Maybe even a stuffed bunny. I included these things in my daughter’s basket. I didn’t give her candy till she was a lot older, so i would put some Gerber snacks in her basket instead. You can also hide the large eggs…just place them kinda out in the open, then help him find them….my daughter loved that!

A little stuffed ***** or bunny!! Maybe you could find one that squeaks. A ball for rolling around, one of those cardboard or plastic, waterproof books. Just keep in mind that the baby will be happy with whatever you give him, mostly just give him your love and attention!!!

Our daughter is 16 months old. We got her books, Peeps, a box of animal crackers in the circus box, bubbles, a stuffed animal, bunny ears and a DVD.

A bunny bib. A plush basket, (if you don’t have one already). A soft bunny, bubbles, pj’s etc. Im putting pj’s, toys, and candy in my children’s baskets.

I would suggest some toy cars if he doesn’t already have some (our 14 month old daughter has the ones in the link below, and she also enjoys Matchbox cars), some Gerber treats like Yogurt Melts, Goldfish Crackers, crayons (the big, fat kind!), some books, a cd of children’s songs (our daughter has just discovered a love for children’s music!).
