If I were to present a gift basket, I would make it up myself. I like to personally choose gifts for such an occasion. Not only would I choose items for the baby, but something for the parents as well. I think that if you choose a ready made gift basket, you might end up giving too many things that they already may have or may not need.

When I do baby shower gifts, I like to get the registry and find the small inexpensive items and buy about 5-10 things.  Then I get a hamper, or pretty basket and put them in.  I think this is better than single presents.  However if it is expensive then only get one item, not biggy either way.

One thing that I saw was a baby cake, made from blankets, bathing rags and diapers.  VERY CUTE see the link below for ideas.  If you are crafty you might be able to make one yourself.</description>
