I like to personally choose gifts for such an occasion. Not only would I choose items for the baby, but something for the parents as well. One thing that I saw was a baby cake, made from blankets, bathing rags and diapers. VERY CUTE see the link below for ideas. If you are crafty you might be able to make one yourself.
